A Typical Day

A typical day for students will consist of five hours of classroom training with multiple breaks in a low stress environment. Flight training will occur either in the morning (prior to class start time) or afternoon (following class dismissal) depending on aircraft availability. We ask that you show up to class rested and ready to learn.

On non-classroom days expect to fly and work on your lesson plans and with your peers. Lunch will be catered on all classroom dates. During personal time students are surrounded by many stores and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment.

Prerequisites

Prior to day 1, all students must hold a Commercial Single Engine certificate with current instrument rating. We ask that you are current and proficient in both VFR and IFR maneuvers and approaches. This will speed up the process and ensure there are no delays in your training. Your FOI, FIA, FII written tests must be completed prior to day 1 as well. If you do not possess a Spin Endorsement, this can be arranged for completion during the course for a $300 fee.
